How To Adjust Your Honda Clock

You might be surprised at how many people drive around with their clock either one hour ahead or one hour behind for about six months out of the year. Unless, of course, you’re one of them. If you don’t know how to change the clock in your vehicle, rather than looking it up or trying to figure it out, you simply leave it… You’re in good company. Lots of people do it.

But, to help you have a more accurate method of time telling in your vehicle, we’re going to run through how to adjust your Honda clock. While some makes and models may differ, we’ll try to give you the basic directions that suit a number of vehicles.  Honda Clock Reset Models 2016 to 2021

 Touchscreen:

  • On your infotainment system, from the home screen, select "home".
  • Choose "settings". Now choose "clock". Then, touch "clock adjustment".
  • After the time has been adjusted, touch "okay".

Non- touchscreen:

  • Find the "menu/clock" button, press and hold it.
  • To change hours, turn the selector knob. To switch to minutes, press the knob, then to toggle through minutes, turn it.
  • When you're done, click "set".

Honda Clock Reset Models 2012 to the 2015

  • The ignition should be turned on.
  • Left of the steering wheel, on the instrument panel, locate the clock stem and hold it down.
  • To change hours, turn the stem. To shift to changing minutes, press down on the stem, then to change minutes, turn it.
  • To finalize your time, press the stem one more time.

Honda Clock Reset Models 2006 to 2011

  • The ignition should be on.
  • Find the "clock" button, then press and hold it. You should see a blinking time display.
  • Find the "preset one" button and click it to change the hours. To change the minutes, find the "preset two" button and click it.

Honda Clock Reset Models 2006 to 2011

  • The ignition should be on.
  • Find the "clock" button, press and hold it. When the stereo makes a "beep" sound, you should notice the flashing clock display.
  • To change the hour, use "preset four". To change the minutes, "preset five" should be used.
  • When you're done, once again, locate the "clock" button, press and hold it. This finalizes the time.

Don't drive around the entire duration of daylight savings time with your Honda clock at 1 o'clock when it's actually 2 o'clock.
